Gorski Books - Terry Gorski continues to be a prolific writer. His most recent books include Depression and Relapse and The Gorski CENAPS Model - An Overview. Dr. Steve Grinstead has recently updated his entire line of Pain Management books and has expanded the concept of Addiction-Free Pain Management beyond the limits of addiction to help anyone who is suffering from Chronic Pain Disorders.

Challenges Relapse Prevention Program in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida - is the oldest specialty relapse prevention program in the country. It is the first program to become a designated Gorski Relapse Prevention Center of Excellence. In order to improve the cognitive behavioral and dual disorder focus at Challenges, owner Dale Redlich has recently hired Jeffrey Huttman, Ph.D., to be the new Chief Clinical Officer. Kathy Shumney, Director of Program Development has recently completed her certification as a Certified Relapse Prevention Specialist.

Solutions Behavioral Healthcare - will be sponsoring for the first time a three day training instructed by Terry Gorski - called "Integration - Making the components of the Gorski-CENAPS Model Work Together&#xu201D;. CENAPS International
CENAPS has four international programs that are making advances in the cross cultural translation of the Gorski CENAPS Model to their particular languages, culture and customers. Four program that deserve recognition:
CENAPS Denmark - CENAPS Denmark has been operating since 2005. CENAPS Denmark has already had a major impact on expanding and improving addiction treatment in Denmark. Under an agreement with Gorski-CENAPS, CENAPS Denmark uses the CENAPS name to promote a comprehensive profile of trainers and consultation services based upon the CENAPS model as adapted to Danish language and culture. These services include professional training in competency certification for professional therapist, program consultation for addiction treatment programs, a resident treatment Alfa-Fredensborg, and a profile of various levels of outpatient services at the CENAPS Denmark Corporate offices in Copenhagen. CENAPS Denmark also has a publishing arm with approval to translate and distribute Danish versions of CENAPS materials. I will be in Copenhagen, in October, 2008

Don Serratt of Lifeworks in London, England continues to pioneer the approach to the treatment of both chemical and behavioral addiction that has been adapted to the British culture and customs. Sunshine Coast Health Centre - Powell River, Canada. We are proud to welcome our newest Gorski Relapse Prevention Center of Excellence located at the Sunshine Center in Powell River, Canada. To achieve this designation, The Sunshine Center has integrated the Gorski-CENAPS Model into all aspects of its routine operations. S.A.A. Reykjavík, Iceland - S.A.A., under the direction of Dr. Thórarinn Tyrfingsson and Zigurour Gunnsteinsson have assured that 16 senior clinicians and supervisors have been competency certified in Advanced Relapse Prevention Therapy. S.A.A has been using the Gorski-CENAPS model adapted to the Icelandic culture in a program named "The Viking Program&#xu201D; for over 20 years.
